Hello from Poland
Hello Gents,
I've been reading this board for a while, but finally decided to register...
I come from Poland and I'm probably one of the youngest users becuse I'm 23.
I'm a student of economics, and I've fell in love with 'haute horlogerie' more or less 4 months ago, while I was visiting almost by accident the watchmaking museum in Glashutte.
From that day, I started gaining knowledge about watches, brands, technical innovations and solutions. Then I started collecting watch catalogues to learn more history of particular brands and after getting over 60 catalogues, I knew that I'm a true lover of complications and AHCI creations.
I'm totally amazed with this board, the professional expertise that you have here, and that undeniable passion which everyone presents.
I'm happy to join the community in my early days of horological passion... and I'd like to show you nothing special, Louis Erard heritage day date, but that's my first mechanical watch that I recently bought to start my adventure with watches...
best regards,
Mateusz This message has been edited by mt.musielak on 2010-04-24 08:44:05

that's right ! but believe me or not... paradoxically, polish people's awareness about such a great citizen is almost none. What's more, we do have only one watch brand - Polpora, but it's just a polish design with some ETA mechanisms inside
Thank you a lot for such a great introduction, Mateusz.
