You left out the PuristSPro ABR which is ultimately affordable! 
IGOTT 2 (Our tenth anniversary) is all about friendship and gathering.
If you attend, it makes picking up a special anniversary piece that much more sentimental. Hence the priority / special bonus points given to IGOTT attendees above other PuristS when signing up for a P10 watch.
However for some PuristS even the journey to Las Vegas will be expensive...there will be a lot of free time so I hope a group of us will go shopping and pick up something less cost prohibitive. The watch I pick up will be special, not a P10 but important to me nevertheless.
A fine point not lost in your posting, I personally did ask MB to create something more accessible for the community but to no avail. Check out the review I will post in the next day or two for an example.
Some brands did not want to participate in IGOTT 2, some could not create a special piece in time...
We did try.
