Howdy mate, late to the party with the congrats on both 3000 and the IWC
Further point to commonalities in watch movements...to be frank, for the regular range of watches by all brands...I, like you, do not care about potential ETA etc "influences". Taking a leaf from car industry...I drove a BMW 525 that used ZF gearbox that is a common mainstay 6 speeder 6HPxx for many car manufacturers; and my Bentley Conti GT has the same gearbox. In both cases, it's actually comforting to knock when the gearbox will up shift, and the nuances of the gear changing leads to psychological comfort!!
Anyway, enough of my bantering...congrats again on oth counts!!
