I'm happy to have landed one as part of a trio of early references (pic below, and a question)
The question: Do we have an idea of how many individual pieces of the Ionica were made in each material?
By 2000 PF was aiming to make around 1,200 watches a year (I don't know if it hit that number). Of the 1,200, about 300 were from the more accessible Basica line. That leaves roughly 900 watches spread over 35-40 references, most of which were introduced in 1998 and 1999. Let's also presume that each reference lasted between two and four years.
Based on my completely unscientific deduction, the total numbers of the Ionica produced would have reached the low hundreds, of which the fewest were probably in Pt.
Looking forward to insights more reliable and precise than this.

That is a rare trio
I never see a collector with three rare uncommon watches. Unique, and for us all a good advice to collect a Parmigiani. I set my cards on a Toric.
