I've gotta say...
...I do like it. These live shots show the piece to good effect; much better than the "official" photos that have been released thus far. Yes, it would've been nice to get a close up of the contentious date wheels, but I have a feeling that so long as the watch is on your wrist the date can be read with no problem.
In fact, my only issue with your impromptu photo shoot is that you used an Oktopus Moonphase as a counterbalance, which just happens to be one of my grails. Sigh...

PS - One more thing: It's interesting that the Okto II appears larger than the previous generation, particularly because it gives up so much in terms of water-resistance (the titanium Oktopus is good for 1111M, while the Moonphase is good for 800M).

Nice review of the new Oktopus. I have been a fan of LW since they started and bought a few of their watches and for a while (before it went back) had the Reef. The design and the different angles have always appealed to me. Cheers Andrew
