I agree that Breatling ...
Has history (despite some bumps on the road) and has very interesting vintage and modern watches BUT:
1) Modern ones seems to be designed just giants.
2) Being supposedly to pilots, the dials are just illegible. (Vintage and modern)
3) Their boutiques has that dreadful pin up, that is a monument to bad taste.
4) I went to two boutiques and nobody there seem interested on selling a watch. One here and another in London.
I hope that Georges Kern resurrects this interesting brand.

And I apologize for that . I think the vids were and are too big in terms of resolution which made everything wrong. But Marcus have given an important feedback about Breitling

The chronomat airborne was available 42mm and 44mm. My biggest watch is the speedmaster 125 so if I can wear that , it is not a problem to wear a 44mm
Same comment with the cairelli reedition or the plo prof, if you can wear one of them, then you can in my opinion wear a 44/45mm Breitling too unless its sits too high on the wrist or it is too big. Quality wise Breitling is a close match to Rolex, Omega ...

Just that at the moment I do not feel particularly drawn to their current collection. And the Breitling watches I have tried lately definitely wore larger / higher than the CP-2, which may be somewhat wrist specific

'best' is a lot of things that the B01 is not.
I gravitate toward another line, so I am not the best one to comment. I have not had any problems getting attention in the Manhattan boutique..
