So far, my experience with IWC has been poor. My Portuguieser hand wound 8 day 75th anniversary gained about 8-9 seconds a day dial up on the bed side table. It also has blemishes on the movement. Took it back and Richemont said the case had been opened and there was no warranty! Very distressing as I bought it brand new from an AD. After some debate they agreed to service it and it came back in worse condition, scratched crystal/hands and no change to the movement. Took it back again and I've been waiting now over a month in total. They won't explain themselves in regard to case back opening. Very strange, such a shame. I love the watches and they're a cool brand. It's just that Richemont sucks and they're not worth what they charge.

I have 3 IWC, but IWC are bad quality , but great design

An engineer , A Spitfire Laureus sport and A Mark XV. The movements of all three suffer the same problem of grinding . They detoriate over time.

hmm, did you tried any of the In-house models? Spitfire Laureus and Mark XV have ETA besed movement (one is 7750 othe based on 2892). I don't know the Ingy model you have.

No never I tried an in house movement , I have the same type engineer as pictured ...

Well, this could happen to any watch brand or any watch movement. But it is strange that you have similar problems on all ETA watches and they are not in the same movement family. Do you service them regulary?

i hope you get them sorted. I have a few of them and they have been reliable and very accurate. And badass, because any brand with that type of marketing is badass ...

i travel a lot and living in a foreign countries, being in Argentina and Paraguay . INTERNATONAL Watch Company actually suggest you sent your watch back to Switserland for service. Not considering customs or risk of theft and being without your watch for ...
