I am very much a dive watch guy
My 2 divers are BB58 blue and Longines Legend Diver 39 mm green. And yes, I’m such a dive watch person that I ALMOST added a third instead of this consideration 😂 I owned the Sub 114060 for years, and ended up selling it earlier this year because it no longer brought me joy. The case wore too blocky and bulky on my 7 inch wrist. Then next, I was considering a 14060, due to the better wearing case, but didn’t feel like spending twice as much as the Explorer I 114270. For me, the 36 mm case size is a no brainer, because in my experience both 39 mm Explorer I and Sub 40 mm actually wear a mm or 2 larger than their case specs suggest. I’m taking a break from the “large watch” trend in this phase of my journey 👍🏻

Well those certainly are factors to consider, my AT Quartz is only 11mm thick, which is less than any of the others I believe

I like how Omega handled the date window. Do you prefer a date or not, there are very strong opinions on that topic here. Personally, I don’t mind a date window but I do like when it matches. I wish my Overseas had that.

The Explorer hands down with absolute certainty. No comparison. Now, I’m a big Omega fan. But the Explorer is way above the Aqua Terra.

I love the Explorer I but I have to say, that Omega with the classic an d classy green dial also looks ageless and timeless. And different. I’m a huge Rolex fan, BUT in this instance, I’d go Omega!

I´d go Omega if it were at bit slimmer. I think the Omega looks amazing, built like.a tank, and the dial colour goes from light green to almost black. But as mentioned, it is a bit too thick. So Explorer for me.

I would opt for the Explorer.
As I have said on here many times, that is the one watch I had and let get away, regretted it eve since. If I didn't want a Cartier tank so bad I would probably get another one.
