Out of interest, what were the lighting conditions to capture the ice like this?
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could take great photos more often? I guess that’s what separates us (with the lucky shots) from the professionals (who achieve this more frequently).
There is some wonderful work posted on the PuristS Photography Forum, but we need a ‘photography guide for dummies’ to get the most from basic equipment [even though I realise you have gone ‘professional’ with the dedicated room for your tent and lights. You never told us Michelle’s response to that new setup.]

You should try to see the actual movie that inspired my photo shoot. It was originally released in 1978, partially to capitalize on the success of Jaws, I think. The movie is about a large school of piranha that escape into a lake resort. The results are....

i remember seeing the pic as well as friday 13th(part 1) and other gruesome films at the Army run cinema when i was a young soldier between 1980-1982. did it also have a swimming pool with the little critters in or was that another film of equally gruesom...
