I find the new format very difficult in many ways...
First the mobile problems. The site will constantly reload on the standard browser on a Samsung Galaxy so I am opening it in Chrome on my phone. Even in Chrome, the response is slow and awkward.
On the desktop, there are some really nice features from the previous iteration that would be nice to re-institute. First, when you used to open a thread, the photos in the thread would show up in a nice grid. No more. Instead, there is simply the thread. And then the thread is not the entire thread, but only partial that one must click to continue. I have become very easily lost trying to find posts within these threads. Also, when I try to link photos from my photos sharing site, the picture button to insert the link to the photos does not work. I have to upload the photos instead.
The only positive that I have experienced thus far is that the Marketplace is much, much better, showing the photos of the watches in a large format. I may get used to all of this, but it seems like a step backward in many ways. One of the great advantages the Purists had over other watch forum sites was its ease of use and clarity. It may just be me, but I am not sure that we have that advantage any longer.

The only thing that annoys me is the non chronological order when clicking on a reply
in a thread. It then moves to the 'beginning' of the page you are on, and that makes it a bit messy and confusing imo. Personally i'd rather have the reply to open (unfold) in the original chronologic position of the thread. Other than that: really like t...

One thing I personally miss in the new design - which certainly looks nicely fresh - is the 'Front Page' tab, where all the posts from the main subforums get shown in the chronological order - makes it easy to see at a glance what is new IMHO. Any chance ...
I am very lost.
The old version was like coming home and I think the logic was better. It was also easier to find the posts of interest. Why to fix something if it's not broken? Perhaps my age makes me resistant to changes. Best regards, Kari

Text size is one size now for a uniform look
if you want to increase or decrease text size, just do so in your browser or your mobile device settings. That's the only way to do so now. Cheers, Anthony
