I think this issue can be generalized to most if not all
micro rotor movements. There was a Lange automatic at the table that exhibited the same behavior and its owner stated that he could not keep it wound on the winder. I'd be interested to hear from a Patek, a Chopard, and a Dubuis owner about their experiences.
