Horological Meandering

Does any purists here has a picture of a Manual winding Grand Seiko without date? I'm wondering if it ever exist. Thought it will be a nice collection together with my Simplicity and Observatoire. I'm very excited about Seiko watch now ;-) Lovesss*CL

There are 4 models and they all use 9S54 movement (the 1st 3 pictures are from Seiko Japan): 1. SBGW007, white gold, ~US17000 2. SBGW008, yellow god, ~US8300 3. SBGW005, SS, ~US3800 4. SBGW001, SS, ~US3400 This message has been edited by SJX on 2008-01-03...  

which I just examined a few days ago. Usually I don't go for a yellow gold watch, with a yellow gold dial, and yellow gold hands; but in this case the watch is very attractive. I don't know if I'd wear something like this on a daily basis, but as an eveni...  

A few more pictures of my SBGW001: It comes with a pin buckle. I change it to a deployant....  

anyone asked why you still get it , with a solid case-back? To me as long as the engine is solid, I'm assured and need not look at it... what's your thoughts? By the way, is the back with the insignia stamped? Kong

especially with the modern GS that has the back with the insignia stamped. It is not a "golden coin" present in the old models. This is the case back of my SBGM001:...

most of the original (1960s-70s) GS were available without date as well. Here is mine, circa 2001:...

it is limited to 300 pieces. Should still be able to find one in Tokyo. I'm now going for this particular piece as I have always loved arabic numeral. Lovesss*CL

for me for my quest to acquire a GS. Having looked in earnest and researched the web, I could only find that the GMT would sit right on my wrist as the 003 is just a tad smal for my wrist. If ever they were making a 39.2 mm model of it, I would queue over...

I suggest we team up, go to Seiko, and ask for another hundred of the SteveG SBGW003 watch, in rose or white gold, and make that our Purist Special Edition watch. OK, maybe this is the wrong thread, but who could ask for a much more beautiful watch. Maybe... 

Guys I have a LNIB SBGW003 that I need to sell. It is complete with all boxes and paperwork. Worn 2-3 times. Can anyone tell me what the current value is? I know everyone is looking for one but what is the real market paying for them? If it can't be poste...
