In California, the man pays for everything, forever
Under California family law, if the marriage is over 10 years, the ex-wife receives half of the marital assets (including payment for "her" half of any business he spent his life creating) at the time of the divorce,and must then pay spousal support (often 25-40% of his income) to the parasite until she remarries or one of them dies.
Men haven't organized a sufficient uprising to change this. For some, the pleasures of being single or having a new wife make it all worthwhitle. Others are too busy working long hours to support two households to spend their time challenging the law.
