I love audio. And there is no better audio, than expensive audio Checking the Argon streaming device. So, an new audiophile section would be great. 💿 Not really high end, but NAD produce just the sound i like. 🎹 ...

This is an 8002 model. It has a special direct-drive platter system.
Are you asking about the slotted metal disc, or the optical strobe part? And where are you located?
Ah, mine is the predecessor 8000 model, also direct drive.
On the central rotor part surrounding the spindle, there is a plastic sheet printed with the lines for the strobe to read. That sheet was affixed to a metal disc. The plastic sheet delaminated from the metal disc, which rendered the strobe speed governor ...

Many years before Harman-Kardon bought out Madrigal (then owner of ML), Mark Levinson (the man) created this brand.
It is said that he (ML) created the High End as we know it today. I think that is debatable. But there is no question that he had a vision. The car line of audio is all H-K's creation.

The first high end the world saw. I tease a bit. Here is QUAD. Famous about the ESL loudspeakers. Do not forget McIntosh, are early coming up with quality amps. And i like the design.
