Jacky, i know what you mean, the subsecond guilloche and
baseplate are brassier in colour, but quite pale. its hard to photo and looks better in the flesh.
to update, so far its kept perfect time and i'm pretty sure it beats at 18000 as it has a lovely steady tick. the strap is not great. apparently they could only supply a calfskin croc grain due to the restriction on export/impot of endangered species so i've ordered a nice quality padded genuine alligator item. the inside endges of the lugs are a bit sharp, but i think the better strap will cover that problem as they originally intended.
other than the strap its superb. very light on the wrist and i can see it getting a lot of wrist time(until the next one comes along 
).

Use 2 Agassiz movement, 2 C.H.Meylan movement...
