Not sure what the strategy of JD is now, but I fear they no longer produce „contemporary“ models…
I heard from an AD that apparently they would only do
custom watches and no longer anything on spec. No idea whether it is the case.
That's right, they target the ultra high 'segment'...

I promised my wife to return to Paris some day but after the pandemic we were a bit busy and now... it happened that we expect to be parents end of February 👶 So it could take a bit of time OR another forum meeting in central Europe 😁

We are going to see less of JD the way Swatch is now positioning the brand. Glad I have the Grande Seconde in ceramic.

... I try to look at it this way: JD was even far less known than Blancpain or Breguet. At least this move prevents from us here from seeing a plastic Jaquet Droz x Swatch, something like a 'Grande Swatchonde' 💀
