To be clear, however, the Rolex 6238 is a grail of sorts, and not in my collection....yet.... ;-)

Like you I really like the aesthetic or the classic 1960s chronographs.

I am not necessarily averse to the presence of the date window. In this case, however, a matching date window would have been nice.
