i like this due to its 24hr dial. regarding the 'chronometer' question in another post, this is not COSC tested, but being one of the Masterpiece series is adjusted to 5 positions. Graham...

Akribos regulator hours at 1...  

This one is (was) available as a limited edition only in combination with a table clock (also a regulator) that houses a winder for the watch also. I think that concept has never been seen before. There is a WG, a YG and a RG version. I took this picture ...  

I've been a big fan of Regulateur watches since the beginning of my interest in this hobby. The only ones still with me are lower center and lower right....  

First, here is an automatic regulator with date, made by Union/Glashütte, and discontinued since several years: On the right, is its "sister in blue", with full calendar. And here is my favourite one, Rainer Nienaber's "Retrolator": a hand-winding regulat...  

...the dial on your Rainer Nienaber. The contrasting guilloche patterns are beautiful and eye-catching. One thing that I noticed in the next to last photo is that the minute hand appears attached to a jewel on the outside of the dial. Is this a signature ... 

... is typical for Rainer Nienaber, and serves the purpose to reduce the wear on that piece as much as possible. The main problem common to all retrograde indications is the massive wear, resulting from the hand's high speed, abruptly decelerating when re... 

I like that the use of the jewel on the outside of the dial is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional. That's fantastic. Cheers, Daos
