My big pleassure dear Michael!! Yes, I can well imagine that it was pleasurable but of intense work as well...
... Sometimes I feel that large collections are wonderful but at same time restrict the enjoyment of all our pieces. Many are left unworn and many times unseen for long time.
And that not only reduces enjoyment but also goes against the well being of said places: sulphated batteries, corrosion, etc can attack pieces left in boxes, chest or safe deposit boxes.
But a project like yours brings the surprise of finding pieces we have forgotten or worn a lot of time ago, finding those who need to put them in working condition or renewe our enthusiasm for them.
Yes, it is an obsessive hobby indeed, but it can give us much pleasure at same time in spite of all the time, money and energy we need to devote to them,
It was a pleasure to follow you in this ten day marathon my friend, and very inspiring.
I definitively will do it with my own collection and will try to document my own journey with pictures.
Have a great New Year 2019 my friend! Be it with Peace and much Good Health!! And keep enjoying your wonderful collection!
Abel.
