My first project watch - the Breitling RCAF Monopusher Chronograph
Sometimes luck - or better said a friendly fellow Purist - simply finds one. I have been mulling over some vintage military chronographs recently and finally dipped my toes into the water.
Prior to the watch being returned to its former glory, some TLC, some correct hands and of course a correct buckle will be required. But very happy with my first entry into the 'project world'.
Btw. if anyone has ideas about a good Europe based watch maker they would recommend for the job, I'd be very grateful. Assume Breitling is unlikely to be able to help?

I'm not sure if I will step into the vintage world, but I'm very happy to be able to enjoy and learn from the posts of fellow Purists.
