i used to think i would always wear white metal cased watches, meaning steel, white gold, platinum etc... not anymore it seems the 2 watches below have seen the most wrist time the past few weeks and here are some pics to try and explain why... just pure ...

. . . between the rose gold case and the plated movement. The only reason I can think of (other than different compositions of rose gold) is that the movement plates are constructed from brass, which might tend to highlight the reddish tones over the rest...
I can find no evidence of it on the market. Especially the colors of plated gold and solid gold are very different. I have had 5N plating done which is very much redder than the 5N cases I have seen. It isn't because of the brass as there is a nickel laye...
