Horological Meandering

This was a good way to brighten day. All I had to look forward to was reliving yesterday's meeting by writing up the minutes - not something that anyone looks forward to with any degree of relish. Unfortunately had drawn short straw & had pleasure of trying to decipher my notes of a less than enthralling meeting. 

This arrived in nick of time to lift the day a bit. An Oris Pendulette- bit of an oddity, both a pocket watch and desk clock in one, been on the hunt for one for a while- not entirely sure why other than I quite like its eccentricity.  First thing to note is that it's tiny!

Think it looks rather good like this - but it is small.  

The good thing was that it was pretty much cheap as chips - always good to get a bit of a bargain.  But even better to get something with lots of character & despite its size it has that in spades.
