I think any watch lover ought to have a pocket-full of of brass and steel (not knuckles and knives and coins).
I keep them in a Humidor / cigar sales case (cigar is for show)
My favorite is this Hamilton.

I was very surprised to learn it's somewhat rare to find a high grade case with the shield un-customized.
Either somebody didn't know, or it never got "presented" in the way it was intended. Now I wonder about the journey from 1908 to that antique case in 1987.
