F.P. Journe: The only thing I need to be able to fully "feel" what you're saying is to have seen this watch in person.

So far, I've only seen it in photos, which is very different. But I can imagine how good it feels on your wrist!

Patek Philippe: I have no trouble believing you: watches are always so much more beautiful in real life!

It was striking when I tried on the green platinum variant.

Patek Philippe: That's also the way I feel.

I will be very interested in trying it on when I can. Best, Emmanuel

Patek Philippe: It's wonderful. I love it.

But I enjoy hand-wound watches so much more than self-winding that the automatic movement is a no-go for me, unfortunately. I don't see the point in spending so much money on a watch that I won't have the pleasure of winding daily. It's just me, of course. Thanks for sharing, J. Best, Emmanuel

Patek Philippe: I completely understand this choice.

The only thing for me is that, even though I wanted to love the 6196, it didn't really appeal to me in real life. So, I'll be curious to try on the 5227 when I can. Best, Emmanuel
