Howdy fellow fair members of the horological shire, when it comes to watch movements, there are broadly three categories 1) generic time only, with different levels of finishing like the Unitas or ETA 2824. Plain Jane, maybe with some make up. 2) complica...

I only have phone camera, not even a proper point and shoot, let alone DSLR or the new fangled mirrorless.....all greek to me.I will learn and do macros best, Horo
I always use my iPhone 6S + my magnifying glass (Loupe System) to take macro shots. That's a not so bad combo in my opinion (at least for me). Best wishes Alkiro
I'm a big chronograph fan. Although I rarely actually time things I love the visuals of a nice movement; all these tiny parts working together is captivating. The only problem is nice chronos with nice finishing are not usually cheap!
Amazing that some of the best stuff we see here are done on camera phones. Congratulations for the wonderful shots and for assembling that "humble" collection!

Caseback Sunday...MB&F HM1. To quote Max Busser... "deconstruct traditional watchmaking and to reconstruct it as kinetic art that happens to give the time.” Special credit to the key "Friends" behind HM1 are designer Eric Giroud, movement engineer Laurent...
1/ The artistic timepiece (Horological Machines) like yours and 2/ The more "common" ones (Legacy Machines). I'm not sure (my personal feeling of course) but I think the latter ones really help to finance now the first ones or really creative concepts. My...
