Horological Meandering

Originally designed to allow a chronograph to measure smaller increments than a second.

This complication traditionally allows a chronograph to measure 1/8th or 1/6th of a second depending upon the balance vbh rate. A 28,800 or 21,600vph would determine whether or not it was 1/8th sec. or 1/6th sec.
The Habrings rather like the movement of the foudroyante or flashing seconds hand, so decided to have it run continuously in their Foudroyante model together with the central Jumping seconds for their watch.

It's certainly not for everyone, as it drives certain folks a bit mad, however my dear wife love hers.

Cheers,
Tim
