Out of town brother in-law wanted to buy a watch...guess who ended up buying one?

 

I walked in to a Torneau, and to my surprise, I saw a Big Pilot in rose gold sitting in the case. It's hard enough to find a stainless steel at the dealers, let alone a limited edition of 50, especially with the previous LE BP in orange being so hot... I just had to take out the amex....worry about the rest later...

It's funny how I was so sure I liked this watch. I happen to be wearing my AP rose gold offshore(one of the greatest combinations of colors and materials by AP ever).  I put these watches to the comparison taste for literally one hour...and I honestly felt the BP came out on top...I knew I had to buy it...

How many times have you bought a watch by mail or without having your favorites to compare, and end up regretting? It's happened to me too often.

My last watch is actually the PuristSPro All-Black Rescue watch just like pplater above, but if you take that out of the picture, my last watch would be the Richard Mille RM11. I was drooling over this watch the day I saw pictures of it in our Richard Mil...

i bought this freak because it was my grail for several years now....... i really liked the freak 2 design more but its too easy to obtain and also too big for me.. so freak 1/1.5 it was.. i finally settled on the 1 because of its rarity..... now that i h...
