Questions have their mysteries when it comes to watches in my situation
It is always a surprise. Watches come when not mentioned.
The next one have all to do with the material where it’s made from.
I am controlling if a 1966 is something to go for. The big date looks lovely made, shady white faded dial which stitch the YG case perfect.
So it is a mystery solved you finally have the twin Longines collection finished.
Now i must complete my Omega twin, which it can go both sides between a Globemaster verses a CK.
If i see my history, it is clear a Globemaster would be a danger push out the CK.
For my interest in astronomic science, a Globemaster is the watch when i explore the galaxy, a telescope at the back the ticket to see much activity on Jupiter.
New addition to the family! The Longines sector dial!

Both dial are quite different and I am happy I finally got it!
The CK 859 will be jealous!
Longines really did well with these vintage inspired releases. If they spend a little more effort on the movements, I think they will appeal to more collectors. Congrats Mr Strap Master 👍🏻👏🏻🍾🥂
For sure the CK will be jealous but both have their place! I also agree with you regarding this collection. This reference has the same movement like my Tuxedo…
While it’s a ETA model (apparently a special version reserved to Longines) it was fitted with a silicon spring. Don’t expect good finishing at this price point but my Tuxedo is +-2sec/day which is excellent and unexpected!

Throughout the months
I controlled many Globemasters. This evening i checked CK’s at my local dealer. As ready there is no rush to make a decision, only joy.
