Horological Meandering

Rolex Forum

While I agree that Rolex is a strong and fabled brand, I have noticed that some of the most silly and ridiculous questions are asked on the available Rolex Forums.  Can I swim with my Rolex, should I remove the hologram, which one should I get, should I wear it or put it in a vault and save it, I think you all get the idea.  Sometimes when I am in need of a good laugh I simply visit one of the Rolex forums and most certainly come away with a good chuckle.  As many of others, my watch collecting began with Rolex.  While I still own some I have come to understand that there are far better watches out there, Rolex is still among the top timepieces.  Sometimes peopleg get so wrapped up in them that they tend to think they are the "end all, be all" of watches.  I like to mix up my collecton with various other pieces along the way and have no intention of parting with any, not even the Rolex'.   I don't see much point in owning more than a couple, 3 at the most ,Rolex , but that's just my opinion.

I'm sure a Rolex forum on The Purists would garner a lot of posts and maybe a lot less "silly questions" than other forums.  If added, I would  support it and visit regularly.

Do what's best for this forum.
