Slight correction: Stowa...
was one of the five brands (along with Laco, Wempe, IWC, and ALS) to originally manufacture these WW 2 "flieger" watches. So Stowa's current versions are modern replica/reissues of its historical models.
Laco is considered to produce the most accurate historical reproductions of the flieger watch, with big, awkward, un-ergonomic cases. That's why all others use modern case designs.
