Thanks for alerting us to a "little known piece" as you say.
There is no question about the movement; Piaget 430P base that used to power many watches from Cartier and still does albeit re-decorated and re-badged as Montres Cartier.
Cartier is trying to use their own tractor movements in all their watches but the ultra-thin Piaget base cannot be denied.
The Ralph Lauren case curves show some flair and I presume wrist comfort follows form.
The combination Roman and Arabic numerals on the dial is distinctive and unusually attractive.
I'm sure that we will hear more about Ralph Lauren watches in the near future!
