Sorry my friend for the late answer
The operation actually lasted longer than expected and they released me quite late. In the evening I was still under the effect of the anesthesia so I was ok, but yesterday (and this night) have been terrible. They had warned me to expect the worst in terms of pain but it is actually much worse in spite of the painkiller tablets ! 
For sure the pain will decrease gradually in the coming days but in the meantime it's probabbly my worst moments on earth ever. But there was no choice my right hand was becoming useless... I'm sure that all the kind messages and good health wishes I have received will be heard and things should consolidate in the coming months. Thanx again for your kind message my friend.
