Also, taking the friend is a study in psychodynamics. On one hand, there was someone to empathise with about this crazy husband but then, if it got too critical, she would have needed to defend you. Win-Win either way.

During my last couple of visits to watch shops in Vienna I was always handed out a booklet and a flyer for Vienna Time - possibly one of the rare watch exhibitions actually taking place in Vienna (but cannot say for certain) While the booklet says nothing...

Touch and go whether we would attend but then managed to sneak a couple of hours on Sunday - the rainy weather helped. And it was definitely worthwhile. The Oris was definitely the positive surprise for me, too. And the Three Bridges, what can I say

One of the remaining three temptations for the year over, two to go. The atmosphere was also quite nice at the show and Sunday being the last day, there were also not too many people around (our daughter slept through the whole thing)

On a more serious note, it was a bit of a fluke. I wanted to go of course but would have lost out to the Zoo, were it not for the bad weather. And the friend came to visit, so a natural addition But definitely pleased with the result!

Agreed that a no dat version would be even better - however here there is a clear precedent; namely the original from the 1960s actually had one, unlike with the LLD. And it is at least unobtrusive Glad you enjoyed the report!
