Horological Meandering

… went into the boutique and put the Longines Heritage Chrono on a Longines bead of rice bracelet. Used to be on a Forstner BOR, but that tapered from the lugs and did not feel wide enough. Obligatory hairy wrist shots below. Before After After ...  

I like it but wonder if it is not too thick Might be looking at the non-chrono tuxedo sibling

... i have a small wrist, but wide enough that this sits nicely in. But admittedly, this is not like an MUT or even a Jumbo. Definitely has presence.

… and the Forstner is not bad. But compared to this feels flimsy..

I am a firm believer that rice of beads bracelets should either be integrated with the case or should continue at the same width with the lugs of the watch as in your case. The immediately tapering ones after the lugs are imho look old fashioned but not i...
