yes, they are mine. I don't wear either of them often, but I like them both very much. The Super Slender (not really by today's standards) has a particularly nice case that rivals those of more highly regarded brands.
Well, okay, not madness, but my collection now includes two -- both from Chopard, both L.U.C. One is the 16/1860, with the cal. 1.96 Geneva Seal movement, the other the Tech QF, with the cal. 9.96 movement that carries the Qualite Fleurier certification. ...
It's far from madness. Those movements are gorgeous! The 1.96 is to die for. You are correct. You must get a Universal and then a Caliber 11/12 to continue your micro rotor quest. Cheers, Nilo
I'm sure I would walk into walls if I had that on my wrist! I've still not had the pleasure of seeing one in the metal. Thanks so much for sharing this one with us. Best, CaliforniaJed

UG Polerouter Sub, Cal 215-2: And, of course, the Patek Cal 240, housed in the 5110: The Chopard one is beautiful. Really like their level of finish, more than their dials, most often, even if I could enjoy your open dial one! Best, Jed. Nicolas ...
The 5110 is such a great example of a world time. How about a dial shot of the UG? We'll agree to disagree about the L.U.C dials! Some have things that bother me (like all Manufactures), but most hit the mark with me. Best, CaliforniaJed
a dangerous request from a Breitling collector, here are a bit more; starting with a pair of UG Polerouters an some Breitling & 12s ;) ref. 2105 ref. 2111 ref. 2112 ref. 2117 ref. 2129 ref. 2130 forgice the mini-tsunami; Fred ...
Fantastic! Thanks so much. That's got to take the prize as the most Breitlings ever in one post, no? (And the Polerouters were great, too.) So help a novice -- what are the differences between the cal 11 and cal 12? Best, CaliforniaJed
thx, CaliforniaJed, happy to add a bit of info. Cal. 11 was the first version of the "Project 99" Breitling/Heuer/Bueren Chrono-Matic, a pre-series was produced in 1968, official launch was March 3rd, 1969; it combined a Bueren micro-rotor base movement w...
Hey CJ, Great Micro-rotor thread you have going here! Please let me join with my (so far) one and only Micro-rotor. An early Patented rights pending... Well, history tells us that Universal Geneve lost the patent war, but the Genta design lives on! :) Bes...
The Geneva stripes on the movement look amazing, and I really like the center of the dial -- almost like burled wood. Thanks for posting, Blomman. Best, CaliforniaJed
