Horological Meandering

As now another division within the Swatch Group, I find JD still manages some sort of independence in terms of positioning and in terms of not doing the same as all others. A bit like Rado they seem to have a penchant for materials, amongst others enamel ...  

But there are some nice versions out there. Like the Minerals ...

Here a (bad!) picture of it. I love this brand as it has a true identity easily recognisable in my opinion. Nevertheless, I think it is underestimate. And so, they are difficult to resell... but easier to negotiate ;-) One thing really interesting IMHO is...  

Just wondering if the little moon indicating the date is retrograde or if there are two of them rotating? So I take it you were satisfied with yours overall?

My first Jaquet Droz and first ceramic watch. This is one of 8 ltd ed. Got to look at this in the metal, the combination of the contrasting black ceramic and grand feu white enamel dial is tops. The dial in the 8 layout is legible yet unique and the 43 mm...
