and its certainly relevant but to clarify my original post-- my post was not a post about this site vs another site(s) rather, my post was a full on criticism of the sketchy nature of what I will call the "self shill" article that pretends to read as a legitimate article about collectible watches. Also, a full on criticism of one site perhaps washing the hands of another-behind the scenes- at the expense of the novice and uninformed. Creating your own "market" by outright saying a certain watch has great potential for investment, when you are also the seller of such pieces,- is insulting to those with some insight and deceitful to those who perhaps are in the know and are genuinely looking for a smart buy on an affordable vintage piece. By hey-- its just my 2cents and I know its their business- but does everyone know its their "business" Happy Friday!

Forum is more fun and real.. but those blogs and sites.. Its just commercial writing.. most are basic knowledge.. the key is the access to archives to write it.. to be fair.. maybe 1 article out of 20 articles is ok to read.. but its a waste of time to vi...

The thing is, its a business. It is set up as a business and one of its key objectives is to make money. In that sense, websites that conduct business as you describe are doing what they are set up to do. I am not sure I have a problem with them per se. H...
