Horological Meandering

thanks for your reply

i do have a lovely eternamatic tank that comes in at around 26mm. in fact, i have no watch that exceeds 33. all my watches are vintage. mostly hamiltons and eternas as i feel the brands are vastly underrated. or perhaps underpriced would a better word.  try picking up a solid gold hamilton with the 982m movement. it can be done for under $400. the quality matches anything the swiss produced at the time. that message really doesn't resonate on this particular board- which is fine as it is predominantly a swiss/german fan site. but if your theory holds true and the pendulum swings back down to more modestly sized timepieces, the good watch lovers here would be surprised at how nice the vintage hamiltons are.
