.....there was not a specific box to a specific reference. Like on IWC, you could get your 1832 Jumbo in the golden box (pic 4 and 5 in my post) or in a white leather box (pic 8) and perhaps even in others. So, "the match" was sometimes a bit blurred back then.

Boxes, boxes, and more boxes: a difficult topic in vintage watch collecting. Most people - understandably - at some point got rid of them......
......and today many of these boxes are collectors' items in their own right. Cheers, HSTE ...

It's easy to match since they have dedicated boxes. Or like that Polaris! Best Blomman ...
This is a 1940s box.
In the 50s you have the blue/white, which was used all the way into the 1960s. Best Blomman

No, no! I do not collect empty boxes. I have the watches that go withe them. More watches than....
