I just love Salmon dails . The IWC GST with a Salmon dail is a very nice watch imo , i love the white and blue indicators with that Salmon dail . Never owned one so i cant tell you anything about that model , had some other IWC watches and allways enjoyed...

Copper was cheap, easily available, easy to work - cut, polish and paint - and, when lacquered, resisted oxidation. It also resembled gold! Over time, it moved up-market and became ... 'salmon' - a colour and not a material. I love it.
