Horological Meandering

I think it a very interesting piece, saw a guy at the airport wearing one and haven’t been able to stop thinking of it, it look pretty darn cool on the wrist. I'm in need of something different and fun in my minimal collection. Pictures form current and p...

but now with combination of my Seiko GS bug and seeing one in the wild looking so cool on the wrist, I must have one ! plus I know one for sale for less then half of the retail price. Perhaps it could be a great conversation piece /beater. Thanks for the ... 

bad pic from just after i bought it. i must do some up to date ones. they also do a silver/grey model. if you buy one, take my advice and ditch the OEM strap as its rubbish best Graham...

A more than interesting watch and I do not understand that I don't see them more often. Absolute great concept that Seiko well executed, but hard to find. I doubt if they were ever released in Europe; Japan only I think. GEO

I shot these photos recently. Look at how the crystal goes from black to slightly transparent brown in direct sunlight. By the way, does anyone know if the Seiko Discus models are limited? I remember from when they where released, someone said they where ...  

I like it. I think the limited edition are the ones with solid SS front and back ,comes PVD and brushed cases made for Japanese retailer Tic Tac , limited 100 pieces each. best Drew

and the silver/grey models are proper ltd editions of 100. thats probably why we dont see them often as there are only 12-1300 out there. Graham

It is certainly an unique and fun watch to enjoy for a long time. Even though I find it a bit difficult to read time, that does not deter me from owning one. My preference is black. Regards Ling

On the back there's a 6 digit serial number....7700xx. Regards, Richard.

Richard, that serial number is a good way of dating it as with all Seiko's. 77 means it was made in july 2007 which is about right, i've owned mine 3 years. no idea why they didnt number them, its more a limited issue than a limited edition if there is a ... 

not numbered Andrew. i bought mine when several others did and only afterwards i read that the black and white models were ltd to 500 each, but unmarked. the silver model is 100 and marked as its a boutique addition. best Graham
