As you are aware, I am of the class of "64" and my birthday is coming up. I think that I will celebrate my birthday and my "2000th" post at the same time in the next few days. I will clearly get a watch to celbrate these two events and with all your help ...

That's a coincidence that you celebrate your 2000. post at the same time that I get the 1000.!!! As you say this is a great place to meet, with the greatness of the internet making it such a diverse and global place and the little frustration of it remain...
