That SBGW231 is a fantastic choice
I had the pleasure of wearing a closely related cousin (255) for a year or so and I will very likely go for a 231 at some point in the future.
The case volume is perfect IMO, the movement is great to wind with that delicious crown.
It is close to the perfect "casual dressy" piece, with a Japanese flair to it. And you can have fun with strap experimenting

Fantastic combo. I too have a GW-5000-1JF.
I don’t wear it often but it’s arguably the best iteration of a classic that’s often overlooked. Mine is a keeper.
