Horological Meandering

the new Azimuth BIT!!! thats...

the new Azimuth BIT!!!

thats extremely interesting to see Jon for
several reasons.

1. i've been kept updated on the progress of the
BIT since its inception and it is still not ready for release. i wont go into
details, but it isnt yet finished. Alvin and i were discussing the problem by
email only a couple of days ago. could you enlighten me as to which way your
second hand rotates and how smooth it is?

2. if you go onto their website you can see what
the finished article will look like and yours is very much different from those
pics.

3. in the real model the script will not be
backwards as yours is, the second hand is nothing like yours, the 12 is not red
and finally your dial looks black, but it will only be in cream and brown and in
very limited editions.

i'm not saying i dont believe you as some very
amazing things happen in the world of watches, but a wrist shot would be
extremely useful although that still doesnt alter the fact that yours looks
nothing like what the actual watch will look like.

i've forwarded this email to Alvin at Azimuth
who is a forum member, in case i'm wrong. as you appreciate, no company, no
matter how small, like their pieces to be misrepresented so he should be aware
that his watch is being shown to the world despite the fact that they havent
finished making it.

i look forward to any answers you can give to
show i'm wrong and therefore make me look stupid.

best

Graham
