the royal warrant has been diluted over the years...even Carphone Warehouse has it
currently there are about 170 suppliers to Prince Charles alone who sports the Royal Warrant. reality is in the past, a royl warrant is a testiment to quality and exclusivity, but these days...there are alot of endorsement possibilities, from movie stars to singers to sports personalities, who probably relate better to most people.
would you buy a watch just because Prince Charles endorse it? my 2.2 cents, VAT included, but not Royal Warranted.

But the Royal Warant itself has no bearing on the company's products. Cartier has accomplished some interesting and notable things in horology, and wil continue to do so given the investments being made. Hororgasm can testify to this. - SJX
