I was in Manchester today (seeing the Dalai Lama) and I always look in the local watch shops and found this new Swatch..!! I couldn't resist and bought one straight away, they come in a rainbow of colours (yellow, red, blue, white, orange, green, pink and...
One is ok, two is a thema. :) Very lovely Swatch, my friend. I was thinking about another one, whose name I don't remember, though. Say Hello to THe Dalai Lama! Nicolas.
sporty skeletons....good job my dealer does RM..!! But then again that could be a bad thing too :) Or what if JLC do a nice Extreme Lab 3...it's difficult to think of many sports watches with the quality of an AP..? The thema continues....
I got a chrono about 20ish years ago and still have it...it needs a battery but I'm sure it still works. I remeber thinking it was expensive at the time but it was probably about £45...LOL. Andy.
splurged too much on a wristwatch before even starting and finishing higher education. I was damned. To think back, the dosh I spent 4 years on Budweisers and Canadian beers for straight 4 years could have afforded me 2 nice Submariners or maybe a Sub and...
It looks nice on the wrist. I love Swatch watches, great price and value. The pics with the AP looks fantastics, best of both worlds. Enjoy them. Vte :)
this was under £50....the coloured ones would be great for a holiday watch as they'll take sand, sun cream, swimming and bashing about during the day. The only poor point is how loud it is..!! I can hear it at the far side of the room at night. Andy.
Well, it is not that loud :-) I hate to sit next to someone in the opera/or in a classical concert, with a swatch on the wrist. It drives me crazy! I leave all my swatches at home, as well :-) Cheers, Oliver
I think I'll leave the swatch downstairs tonight as it almost kept me awake...tik...tik...tik...tik...tik...tik........LOL. I promise I'll bring something nice if we go to the opera :) Yours, Andy.
You've inspired me! I've been waiting for SWATCH to come out w/a colorful and affordable skeleton! I'm going to buy 4 of them in different colors! One for all of us (husband, and 2 kids!).
which is all SS so I am tempted to get it just to get a photo next to my AP..!! That is £120 while these are just £47...fun little piece and OK for work as I don't mind getting chemicals on it and bashing it about...LOL. Yes we all need a little fun piece...
i’ve had a lot of Swatches and like the Irony range as well as the Scuba range. bomb proof cases. they also do an auto chrono now as well i think. all ETA calibres in their auto’s so £120 isnt much really. as for fun pieces, i have this which i’ve not sho...
I am very tempted. . . . . . My daughter has been thinking about the black, purple, and pink. My son is thinking about indigo, blue-grey, and orange! And we are also incredibly tempted by the green!! Hmmm. . . . . ..
Swatch do a skeleton auto which I'm considering getting but it's tiny...36 or 38mm...but I might get it just for fun to photograph with my AP. But these are only £47 so 'cheap as chips' as they say..!! Get a pair and see what happens :) Andy.
i bought two for my kids - my son chose the indigo and my daughter the purple. they are both smitten w/the watches! i think i've got them hooked on watches now ;) yes - the skeleton auto is nice - i bought that about 10 years ago - and it's still running!...
They both look very happy with them :) They also picked colours they can change with each other too..!! Very versitile. I think these are one of the nicest new Swatch watches they've brought out in a long time...I've been after another Swatch for ages the...
the range is called the 'Laquered' and i quote 'the clockworks of the yellow, orange, red, green and blue-laquered watches all score a random colour combination during production, lending every watch its own unique colour design'. effectively all the wheels...
Man...this is superb. It is never the price, but the intent of design...this is one of the very few swatches that will be super. Rest assured..the entire first edition will be in my box by next week!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! I would never have known.
I always pop in the Swatch shop when I'm in Manchester looking for a fun piece but nothing has stood out for ages then I saw this last week and instantly loved it..!! I might get one of the colours to go with it for holidays or just for fun :) Please post...
Previous examples are the Seiko discus and the Longines Legend Diver. Andy, perhaps you've discovered the next one. Strangely, I wouldn't mind one of the green ones. Afterall, its all about fun isn't it? And the price isn't going to break the bank. Regard...
Like you say it's just for fun, very practical and cheap as chips..!! Very much a Purist family fun piece :) I also think it is one of Swatches best looking recent pieces...I will have to get another colour though..!! Yours, Andy.
