Vintage Jaeger Lecoultre ( Jaeger / Lecoultre / Jaeger Lecoultre ) diving watches are not that many. Indeed, there are 11 or 12 watches, and among them, only 7 or 8 different references, as you had several versions in the same reference ( Deep Sea Alarm /...

I don't know much about JLC divers (there are so much watches in JLC's world). The caliber 13VZH is a beaut'.... Very instructive, I'll have to read it a 2nd time though, thanks Cheers, Mark

and knowing these beauties, I would have to go with the DSA Europe. The simplicity, lack of date and bezel balance, that is mind soothingly elegant. I don't want to get into too many superlatives but this watch appeals to me like music or fine art. It is ...
I prefer the DSAs to the Polaris, even if I have a strong feeling for the Polaris 65. But the DSA Europe is really exciting. Fantastic Watch! Best, Nicolas
No wonder vintage JLC diving watches are rare. They were all limited production runs and discontinued after only 1-3 years. I'm guessing they weren't big sellers for JLC at the time (like the Rolex Daytona in the 70s and 80s)?

The only thing was to gather all the informations I found, year after year, in one thread. It may help those who want to build a collection. I am also working on a more general article about vintage divers, from different brands, those who counted in the ...
Diving watches, of course, but also Military and Chronometers. Some others are interesting, such as the Futurematic, or some Chronographs. The Reversos are top, too, as well as some Memovoxes, other than the Diving ones. The Mystery / Galaxy, too, and the...

But the two extra terrestrians are certainly the Jaeger Diving, and the Lecoultre 100 ATM. Thanks for your feedback, and yes, the Polaris 68 is a really cool Watch even with the date. ;) Best, Nicolas
Fantastic compendium of history and facts about JLC diving watches. I look forward in the Manufacture going deeper into this field (no pun intended ;). As for you and your contribution to Purists, I will let the late Gustavo Ceratti say it for me…. Gracia...
