I have no experience with Amazon watches, but I have seen several internet grey dealers offer their own warranty of 1 or 2 years on pieces. Obviously they use their own watchmakers, but I would be very nervous about this. And as many internet sales are international, or at least interstate, I wonder how often watches are returned for repair, or how easy the sellers make this process.

Amazon is an honest company and you call feel comfortable with any purchase from them. They also have a liberal return policy. If they are offering a discount, it's worth buying from Amazon. Plus usually you save the sales tax.
