Watch comparison question
I want a Hamilton pilots watch, or so I think, and posted something about them the other day and got nothing but favorable responses. How would it compare to the Bell and Ross BR92-123 that I currently own, and also to the IWC pilots watch which I am considering. Both the B&R and IWC cost considerably more than the Hamilton, am I gaining anything by going with the IWC or having the B&R already? We all know the watch industry is full of smoke and mirrors and in this scenario I see that. My Bell & Ross is really nothing special, ETA movement, no screw down crown and no winding clutch, If I remember correctly it was $3300, and in my opinion probably a bit over priced. I guess I am asking where the Hamilton fits in. The IWC runs about $4000 and I don't see anything really special about it either.

Was just looking at a friend's Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical yesterday. The 24 hour dial is great, no date window and the sandblasted case was perfect for the watch. This particular Hamilton fits in as a sensibly priced watch that will resonate with col...
