Horological Meandering

There is something magic in London's atmosphere in November. I don't know, maybe the explanations can be found in the first Christmas ornaments, the poppies on the jackets but I always love to be in London during this period. Even the weather seems sunny ...  

If I could choose only 3 timepieces among all of these beauties, below would be my selection and ranking: 3/ Bovet ("too much" but I love that) 2/ GP 1966 skeleton (very modern) 1/ KV first pic (just perfect) Thanks again Best wishes Alkiro

...specially with my growing interest for the indépendants (I had a chance to meet many of them at several occasions and the majority of them are actually really accessible and nice. But I also have to work sometimes and cannot attend all events... This a... 

This was my first year at Salon QP and I'm quite sure I'll be adding it to the list in the future. It was great to meet the watchmakers and see many brands that are just very difficult to see normally. To watch and chat to the Lange engraver doing work un...

Lovely photos as usual I was Salon QP for all three days and can vouch it is the place to meet the independents.

Great summary and photos! I was blown away seeing the Atelier de Chronometrie and the Akrivia watches for the first time. I was also very impressed with the individuals behind these watches. I'm always when impressed to see such consistency from one watch... 

I think that the Salon was very positive for Atelier de Chronometrie. I hope they will get the exposure they deserve.

Very enjoyable and thanks so much for taking the time to post this, FX. I saw most of these watches, but missed a couple as well. For me, the highlights were talking at length with Andreas Strehler (he was wearing his absolutely stunning Papillon in rose ...
